Unboxing the Brainwavz B2 In Ear Headphones

Time to unbox the Brainwavz B2 In Ear Headphones!

The Brainwavz B2 Unboxed!

As promised we’re posting the our unboxing and initial impressions of the Brainwavz B2 In Ear Monitor Headphones. The B2 is the highest-end model of the Brainwavz line. This model trumpets a balanced, clear, and detailed sound signature that will put to shame a lot of other headphones with the same price tag. But that’s really more for the full review which we’ll share with you guys sometime this week. For now let do the unboxing!

The packaging is simple – carton and plastic. Just remove the plastic and pop out the inner box. As you can see with the photo above the earphones and the black solid portable case are prominently displayed.

The simplicity of the packaging reminds me of my other favorite cans – the Grado SR60i. Anyway, to fully open just slide out the plastic from the internal carton box.

What’s inside? 3 sizes of silicon tips, Comply foam tips, Airplane adaptor and a hard carrying case for added protection.

You’re probably wondering why the wiring kinda looks funky. It’s not your usual single cable or even the flat cable that you find with the a-Jays. What makes the B2 special is the dual-balanced armature configuration. One armature is dedicated for highs and the other for the lows. The result? Tremendous improvement in acoustics and over-all sound quality especially in clarity and detail.

Initial Impressions

I won’t give too much away yet since this is just the unboxing. However let me just say that the sound quality blew me away. I was never a fan of In Ear headphones but I’m carrying this around more often. 🙂

Full review coming soon.

Again, to those who can’t wait for the review you can head over to Digital Hub or Digital Walker. They sell for Php6,995.
