A global launch in happening in Mumbai, India

vivo, the Chinese brand that released the 6GB RAM equipped Xplay Elite, is coming to the Philippines. We’ve already told you about their hiring efforts for their local PH office, and now we’re positive that the company will be making the PH debut soon.

We’ve been invited by the company for a global launch in Mumbai, India on April. While they haven’t announced which phones will be showcased at the event, even money says that their 6GB monster will be shown during the launch since not a lot of western gadget outfits has seen the device as of yet.

So why India? Well, the country is an important market for vivo (and a bunch of their competitors as well) and makes sense that the company will be showing off their new phones (including the Xplay Elite) in a strategically vital country. We’ll be giving you our hands-on and direct reports from Mumbai, India once we arrive in the second week of April.
