Large and in charge
Samsung’s unveil of their Galaxy S8 and S8+ flagships are a few days away, but that hasn’t stopped the number of leaks for the Korean company’s incoming flagship devices one bit. Our latest leak today comes via Mexico, where a working device of the Galaxy S8+ was spotted by a Mexican tech blog.
The newest leak shows off the gorgeous 6.2-inch display that has a 18.5:9 aspect ratio, which can be scaled to 2960×1440, 2220×1080 and 1480×720 pixels. That edge-to-edge panel and curved display also makes the Galaxy S8+ pretty compact even with that gigantic display, and a side-by-side shot with LG’s V20 show that the 6.2-inch smartphone isn’t that much bigger than a phone with a 5.7-inch panel.
The leakster also explores some of the features of the phone’s 12-megapixel snapper, as well as the 8-megapixel front camera. Also note the use of on-screen Android keys for navigation, something that Samsung has stubbornly resisted using until now.
The Korean company is set to unveil the Galaxy S8 and S8+ come March 29 in New York, so join us then for the announcement.
