Blizzard DOTA coming soon
Alongside the showing of the new StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm Preview Trailer, Blizzard also showcased a new project that they’ve been working on — Blizzard DOTA. It’s literally DOTA except that you play with characters from the Blizzard Universe. In the trailer below you’ll see Nova (SC2), Thrall (Warcraft), Arthas (Warcraft), and a bunch of other familiar characters. It looks like this will also run on the StarCraft II: HoS engine. Description: In a tiny, trans-dimensional pocket universe sit two dark and terrible gods. One red. One blue. To amuse themselves, they kidnap great heroes from across time and space! And those heroes come from one company: BLIZZARD! These heroes are forced to fight to the death in an endless battle with no purpose… other than ladder points.
