Show off your skills to your friends

If you’ve always wanted to show off your Genji skills to your friends but can’t be assed to setup a Twitch account, you’ll be happy to know that Facebook and Blizzard has teamed up to provide deeper integration between your social account and Battle.net. Blizzard is now trying to implement Facebook’s live API to Battle.net, which will allow you to stream any game of Blizzard straight to your Facebook timeline. That includes Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2 and most importantly, Overwatch.

“Blizzard games are best when played with friends, so it’s important to us to provide our players with features and services that make it easy and fun to share their experiences with each other,” said Gio Hunt, executive vice president of corporate operations at Blizzard Entertainment. “We’re working closely with Facebook on this integration for Overwatch, as well as our other games, and we look forward to sharing further details on our plans as development progresses.”

Aside from streaming, Facebook integration will also allow players to log in to their Battle.net via their Facebook account. The integration is set to go live later this month.
