Here’s a free way to connect with the brands and apps you love for free
If you’ve always wanted to browse your favorite sites and connect with the brands you love for free, we have good news for you: Voyager Innovations, Inc., the digital unit of PLDT has created a new mobile app that allows you to do just that. SafeZone is an easy way to get free Facebook, Twitter and Instagram along with other partner apps and brands without depleting your monthly data cap or your pre-paid load taking a hit. While SafeZone can be accessed by Globe users as well, the free access only extends to Smart subscribers, with the addition of Sun subscribers later on.
To ensure that your load or account won’t be charged for extra minutes, you’ll have to make sure that the Load Protect feature is turned on in SafeZone, after that you can browse the partner sites to your heart’s content without needing to worry about your account. Right now, sites like Philippine Airlines, BPI, Inquirer, Agoda, Zalora, Skyscanner, Lamudi, Carmudi SPINNR, GameX, Babble Messenger, Eat Bulaga and Pinoy Hoops are available under the SafeZone scheme, but other sites are being planned in the near future.
