Apple’s latest OS for its devices can now be downloaded!

Apple has officially released iOS 8, the latest version of its mobile operating system for the iPhone, iPad and the iPod touch. iOS 8 comes with a few new features including actionable notifications that can now be accessed from the lock screen or notification center, as well as Widgets, third-party keyboard options and a few things under the hood, including Apple’s new HealtkKit, a health-tracking service that pulls in data from third-party fitness apps that you can access.

We recommend that you connect to a stable and fast internet connection before download the new update, as it weighs in at a staggering 1.4GB, which requires an even greater 5.7GB of space on your selected device. To update, you can go to the general tab, and select software update.

Devices that can run iOS 8 are: iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPod touch 5th generation, iPad 2, iPad with Retina display, iPad Air, iPad mini and iPad mini with Retina display.
