Netflix has officially expanded to many countries, but not all of their titles are available to view. Users have found a way to circumvent that using proxies and unblockers, but Netflix is apparently cracking down on people using those services. uFlix, a paid service that’s used by many Australians to access US Netflix titles, is saying that the streaming company has started blocking users from viewing its US-only videos.
Right now the issue is affecting only a small population of uFlix’s subscriber base, but expect that to increase as Netflix ramps up its operation. The company is very serious about enforcing geolocks on its content, and it’s only a matter of time before they start enforcing those same restrictions in the PH as well.
