This one is for the books, Pokémon Go folks. The Manchester Police Department in the state of New Hampshire announced on their official Facebook page that the rare Fire-type Pokémon Charizard has appeared “in their booking area”. Only a lucky few are invited to capture it, though.
The Facebook posting declared: “Attention all area PokemonGo players: we have recently found out that there is a Charizard in our booking area. With the Charizard being such a rare character, we are only inviting a specific number of people. If your name appears on the following list you are one of the lucky ones. Come down to the station to capture Charizard. Hurry before the Charizard leaves!”
Clicking on the list link in the post leads to Manchester’s Most Wanted List, a gallery of the city’s most sought-after criminals. Sneaky coppers.
It’s doubtful whether Manchester PD will be able to catch these individuals with their “invitation”, but you never know. People have been known to fall off cliffs in the name of Pokémon hunting.
