Rovio’s Angry Birds Evolution Is Not For Kids

It’s marketed to more serious gamers

Looking for a serious and engaging mobile RPG? You might want to take a look aat Rovio’s Angry Birds Evolution. Now before you close this window for even suggesting that Angry Birds could be anything like that, know that Rovio has teamed up with German studio Chimera entertainment for the development of the new game that sports pretty, console-like graphics as well as Eastern-style RPG turn-based combat mechanics. The game has an edgier feel to it, and has plenty of mature humor meant for adults.

Five classes of birds with unique abilities are available, and the player will be able to collect and hatch over 100 colorful characters to use with the game. There will be a weekly events system that will reward players with XP and items, and there’s also PVP via Oinktagon to measure the skill of your characters against other players.

While the game is free to play you can opt-in to the monthly subscription model for better in-game rewards for $25 – quite steep if for a mobile game if you ask us. It’s now available to download via Google Play and iTunes.
