Limited Edition Rare Status of Naruto and Gamakichi

While I’ve always been a fan of The Avengers, Batman, and other big screen movie characters, my inner geek is really more for certain anime series. Two of the titles that I follow (on anime and manga) are Attack on Titan and Naruto. We’ve made it a point to pursue the 1/6th line of both series and we’ve actually already gotten both Naruto and Sasuke from Medicom Bandai. One particular statue though that we’ve been eyeing is the Summon of Gamakichi Naruto Uzumaki High Quality Statue by Tsume. There were only 1,000 pieces made in the world and it’s kinda pricey as well so it’s always been a “dream buy” for us. Fortunately we were finally able to get it through the good folks at GreatToysOnline and we couldn’t be any happier!

Despite just being 1/8th scale, the statue is still kinda big! It weighs in at 7 kilograms and it’s around 34 cm tall. It has three main components: Naruto, Gamakichi, and a numbered metal name plate/stand.

In this statue we have Naruto in a relaxed sitting-down position. It looks like he’s about to summon a shadow clone since his right hand shows he’s about to do ninjutsu. On his back there’s a big yellow summoning scroll, probably the contract that he signed when he was training under Jiraya (this was when he was learning how to do summons). Next we have Gamakichi. Gamakichi was one of Naruto’s earlier summons. He’s transformed from a useless talkative frog to a gigantic battle-ready toad. We’re definitely digging the insane level of detail and the accuracy of the sculpt of this summon! They even had him rest his right elbow on a huge kunai, hehe.

Other than the kunai, Gamakichi also has a golden pipe with him. The design is amazing when you get a chance to look at it up close. The photos you’ll see really won’t do it justice.

Tsume also made the base pretty cool. As you can see there’s a pinkish smoke surrounding Gamakichi, as if he was just summoned by Naruto. It definitely looks crazy awesome! They also put a Naruto name plate at the front of the base.

Last, but definitely not the least, we have a metal name plate/stand which also shows the number of the statue. There were only 1,000 made in the world so it’s nice to know what number you have. Kinda gives you that uber feeling of exclusivity, hehe. We appreciate this a lot especially since we know the rarity and the value of the statue will be preserved through the years.

Summon of Gamakichi Naruto Uzumaki HQS by Tsume is available in very limited quantities for Php16,500 at GreatToysOnline.
