Here at Unbox, we’re all about the latest tech and gadgets. There are things that we absolutely love and there are the things that make us go: “Whuuuuuut!?”

We get that some people love their cars to bits and we certainly understand the feeling of crushing disappointment when you’ve just come out from a car wash only to have it rain minutes later, but this really has us scratching our heads.

In the video, you see it completely unfurled and then folding up again; you can do so via a remote. Great! In the post, they also mention being able to keep temps down in the car when the sun is out and we definitely understand wanting to keep your car cool; especially in the summer. But for days like today, where it’s pretty much raining cats and dogs, it barely offers up any coverage or you’ll still have to give your car a wipe down on its sides even if it was just drizzling. There’s also the part where it could be easily stolen since it is just held on by four straps and we all know how resourceful people with bad intentions can be.

There’s a tiny part of us that understands but, for the most part, we really have to ask you guys if you think it’s worth it.
