1.) Be More Proactive and Patient

If you’re the type of husband who thinks it’s tiresome to snap photos of your spouse, then it may be time to think a little differently. I’ve found that the best way to elevate your #instagramhusband game is to be part of the process rather than just being there to indulge your partner. Learn to appreciate these moments with your spouse.

2.) Experiment with Angles

Taking a great shot, whether it’s for an OOTD or a snapshot of your travels, will often depend on the composition of your photos. This will take some experimentation plus a bit of trial and error but the results are worth it. 3.) Remember Your Partners Preferences

Remember our first tip about being patient? Yes, your spouse may ask you to take and retake photos for the nth time until she’s absolutely happy with the results. Take it as a learning experience that will speed up the next photoshoot and you can even direct her to the angles she’s preferred in the past well. Trust me, she’ll appreciate that you remembered to.

4.) Be on the Look Out for Instagrammable Backdrops

While your main subject will definitely be your partner-in-crime, where you photograph them makes a huge difference. Keep an eye open for good backdrops for your photos and don’t be afraid to go off to beaten path to find them.

5.) Don’t Just Take Photos, Build Memories

At the end of the day, it’s all about making your spouse happy and as the saying goes “Happy Wife, Happy Life”. Take these moments to build memories with your partner and don’t just do it for the likes. Use it as a bonding experience between the both of you and an exercise in communication as well.
