If you’re the sort of person that needs to escape the hustle and bustle of the city once in a while to relax and recharge, you’ll definitely need to start watching travel vloggers on YT. Not only can you live vicariously through them, they also have excellent tips and tricks when travelling, as well as access to vacation spots (both here and abroad) that you may not have heard of.
4. Learn about history
Many of you probably skipped history lessons when you were in school, but learning about the past is an important part of planning for the future. Understanding the events of the past explains many of the things that’s happening in the future, and learning about history is infinitely more enjoyable when it’s presented through a visually stimulating medium versus a professor droning in a stuffy classroom.
5. Make yourself smarter/learn a new language
The great thing about YouTube is that there’s literally thousands of great educational channels that’ll blow your mind if you just let them. There’s plenty of YouTube creators in the video app that tries to educate as well as entertain, and once in a while they produce videos that’ll truly change the way you see things.
YouTube also makes it easier for you to learn a new language, and while there’s no replacing actually talking to someone in the language of your choice YouTube language tutorials make the process so much easier. There’s so much free material available in the streaming site of whatever language you need, including Spanish, Chinese, German and French.
