While the global launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 happened a few weeks ago, it was only locally launched in the evening of August 15.  The big event was held at the Shangri-La Fort Bonifacio where distinguished guests, business partners, media and Samsung lovers filled the Grand Ballroom. After wining and dining, the executives of the Korean tech brand emphasized the highlights of their newest flagship phone namely, its enhanced S Pen, the iris scanner for enhanced security, the IP68 water and dust resistance feature and its HDR video capabilities.

The Samsung executives talked a bit about the history of the Galaxy Note when critics initially doubted the product due to its large screen and S Pen feature.  Fast forward to present day, the Galaxy Note has a strong following with a lot of people itching to get their hands on the phablet.

“The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is truly the smartphone that thinks big.  With its enhanced functions, the most intelligent smartphone to date makes not just work, but life as a whole, much easier and much more convenient,” said  Chad Sotelo, Marketing Director of Samsung Philippines.
