AMD-powered RedmiBook 14 Will Launch With Redmi K30 Pro Tomorrow

An affordable notebook for the masses?

Aside from the Redmi K30 Pro and the oft-rumored K30 Pro Zoom, former Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi will also be announcing a suite of products to launch with their new phones.

This includes a new smart TV, and the new RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition notebook. While details are scarce, it’s rumored that the notebook will launch with AMD’s new 7nm Ryzen 4000 chips, along with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD drive.

The new Ryzen processors were chosen by many laptop brands to power their new high-profile notebook releases for 2020, edging out Intel for the honor, at least during CES.

No pricing rumors yet, but Redmi’s notebook offerings have always been aggressively priced (at least in China) so expect this to fall into the same price bracket when it’s officially launched.
