Halloween may be over but you can still cast spells using your Android phone thanks to special features added by Google. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll be happy to know that your mobile is the only tool you’ll ever need to make magic.

Google recently announced its partnership with the film “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. The movie is based on the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling.

So how does it work? Just say “OK Google” followed by “Lumos” and voila! Your phone’s flashlight will turn on. Simply say “Nox” and it will turn off. You also have the option of saying “OK Google” then “Silencio” then your phone’s ringer and notifications will be turned off.

In the Harry Potter books and movies, “Lumos” is the spell to turn on the wand’s flashlight and “Silencio” silences people.

But that’s not the only fun part. Google also added other “Fantastic Beasts” inspired features. It will now allow users to experience what it’s like in 1920s New York where the film was set through Google Street View. “Fantastic Beasts” stickers will also be added to Allo, Google’s new messaging app.

Pretty cool, isn’t it? The features are already activated on your Andoid phone – no updates needed. You can also cast your own spells – no Hogwarts training required.
