As students prepare for school, ACER and Samsonite team up for their #CarryOn campaign, where they aim to empower the youth in pursuing their dreams and goals. The promo campaign kicked off at SM Megamall fashion mall, where a travel-inspired performance was presented by dance duo Matt X AC.
“Travel is, without a doubt, one of their strongest motivations. Hand in hand, we are hopeful that we will be able to not only motivate our millennials, but also reward them for their hard work by fueling their wanderlust,” Acer Philippines’ Sales and Marketing Director Sue Ong-Lim said.
In addition, the #CarryOn video was presented. Directed by Irene Villamor—known for her films Camp Sawi and Meet Me In St. Gallen—the short film showcases how traveling helps the youth cope and re-energize as they deal with the daily grind.

“Travel inspires a different form of education – it makes you learn about new environments, exposes you to different cultures, and gives you a clearer view of the world,” shares Samsonite Philippines Country Head Ciely Buenviaje said.
Qualified ACER and Predator laptops, ACER projectors, and ACER desktops purchased from authorized are included in the promo. In order to avail of the free Samsonite luggage, customers need to register their participating ACER products at the Acer Philippines’s warranty registration website within two weeks of purchase. An email will be sent to confirm the warranty status and the redemption of the free luggage.
