LG OLED Media Art Wows Tourists at the N Seoul Tower

LG’s OLED Tunnel at the N Seoul Tower

One awesome thing about being part of the LG Innofest aside from the conference is seeing how the brand is present all over Korea.  Right after visiting the LG AI Home, we were brought to the N Seoul Tower, the second highest point in Seoul.  The views were absolutely breathtaking; the OLED Media Art, even more so.

The short “hike” going up the tower must have taken us at least 30 minutes simply because we couldn’t help but to stop for photos along the way.

The N Seoul Tower is 236m high!

Stopping for a photo because not even the gloomy weather could ruin the beauty of the place.

We finally made it to the tower where we were greeted by Lin Lin, the cutest panda ever. 😀

The view totally took my breath away.

Just when I thought that I’ve seen everything that the N Seoul Tower has to offer, I was delighted to see LG’s OLED tunnel.  The details were crisp, the colors were brilliant and the experience was very immersive.  Check out this short clip.

We went up the second floor and the highlight was another OLED display but this time showing 3D images.  They provided glasses so visitors can fully appreciate the show.  The images may seem a bit blurry in this video but trust me, once you have the glasses on, you’re in for a treat.

The good news is, the same awesome tech powering N Seoul Tower’s OLED display is available to us at home with LG’s OLED televisions.  During the Innofest, they introduced new TV products with ThinQ AI and advanced (Alpha) processor.  This enables viewers to experience enhanced image rendering and incredibly accurate colors from any viewing angle.  The AI functionality allows you to speak to the TV and it will respond accordingly.  For example, you can ask about the weather and it will show the forecast for the day.  You can ask for information about an actor of a particular movie you’re watching and it will answer.  You can even say “turn off the TV after the program” and it will automatically do that for you.

When it comes to screens and television, LG never fails to amaze be it in one of Seoul’s tourist highlights or your very own living room.
