Back-to-back Gold medals for Sibol!
After their come-from-behind victory against Indonesia in Mobile Legends, Sibol bagged another Gold medal—this time in DoTA 2 against Thailand.
Sibol dominated in the group stage, where it swept Vietnam in the upper bracket finals.
During the Gold medal match against Thailand, Sibol took the first round, while Thailand fought back in round two for a 1-1 score. Sibol responded back in round three, and Thailand brought the game to a tiebreaker round after beating Sibol in round four.
Come round five, Sibol gave their all to take round five and the Gold medal win.
“There was a lot of twist and turns but we couldn’t be any prouder,” Sibol – DoTA 2 coach Paolo Bago said.
