Sibol Dominates Singapore for Philippines’ 3rd SEA Games Esports Gold Medal

A convincing win for Team Sibol

The country adds a third Gold Medal in Esports at the 2019 SEA Games with Sibol’s dominant win over Singapore in Starcraft II.

In the Gold medal match, Sibol’s Caviar Napoleon Acampado, also known as EnDerr, defeated Singapore’s Thomas “Blysk” Kopankiewicz in games 1 and 2. While Kopankiewicz took game 3, Acampado won in games 4 and 5 for the gold medal.

Prior to the Gold medal match, Acampado bested Kopankiewicz in the tournament opener with a 2-1 score.

As of this writing, Sibol bagged gold medals for Mobile Legends, DoTA 2, and Starcraft II, with hopes for a fourth gold medal in Tekken 7.
