Opens Pokémon Master job listing for April 1st

Google has earned a reputation of pulling off truly magnificent tech pranks on April 1st, but the company has topped themselves this year. According to the video below, the company is looking for a Pokémon Master to tame the numerous Pikachu’s and Machops in Google’s HQ. Actually not really – the AR part of the video isn’t real, but the Google Maps Pokémon challenge is real, and you can actually hunt for Pokémon in Google Maps today. It’s easy – just update the Google Maps app, type in Press Start in the search bar and away you go. There are 150 Pokémon that you can catch overall, although catching all of them is going to be a challenge, because Google has hidden said 150 Pokémon all over the world, so, uh, good luck.
