Instant Articles have been a Godsend. It allows websites to push content to readers seamlessly through Facebook and cut down on load times to these links significantly. And now that Facebook is practically forcing us to use their messaging app, Messenger, it’s nice to hear that this feature has been expanded to the platform as well. The feature was announced by David Marcus, Head of Facebook Messenger, in a post saying: “Thrilled to bring Instant Articles to Messenger for Android starting today, and to iOS in a couple of weeks.”
Links shared via Facebook Messenger will have a tiny lightning bolt icon if it is published with Instant Articles enabled. If you’re an Android user, let us know in the comment section if it works for you.
