Mineski Global and PCCL Sign Partnership for Collegiate eSports

eSports will soon be part of competitive collegiate sports

As part of its push for eSports in the country, Mineski Global signed a partnership with the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) to create an eSports program for colleges and universities.  “It’s time to show everyone that esports represent a viable career option, inclusive, and that it should be accorded the same treatment as regular sports,” Mineski Global CEO and founder said Ronald Robins.

This follows the debut of eSports in the 2019 SEA Games, where the Philippines won Gold medals in DoTA 2, Starcraft II, and Mobile Legends. “Esports is another field in sports where Filipinos can excel and can win honors for the country in international competition,” PCCL Chair Reynaldo Gamboa said.
