PLDT Home Waives November Service Fee In Typhoon Struck Areas

PLDT Home postpaid customers affected by typhoon Ulysses residing in the Marikina and Rizal area will have their service fee waived for one month.

November hasn’t been great for Filipinos that stood in the path of both Rolly and Ulysses, with many people living in low-lying areas in Luzon and Visayas suffering catastrophic flood damage because of the two storms. PLDT is trying to make recovery for typhoon-struck areas a little easier and is waiving service fees in affected areas for the month of November.

The one-month waived service fee applies to all postpaid customers of PLDT Home in areas including Marikina, Rizal, Cagayan, Isabela, Bulacan, Camsur, and Albay. The telco is currently concentrating on restoring their service in all typhoon-struck areas, currently, and PLDT-Smart Vismin engineers have traveled to South Luzon to assist in the network restoration in critical areas affected by typhoons Rolly and Ulysses in the immediate aftermath of the storms. Two Smart teams from Cebu and Mindanao were sent to help in Catanduanes while a team from PLDT Mindanao was sent to the CamSur area. PLDT’s engineers have joined forces to fast-track the restoration of communication lines in affected areas.

Subscribers may confirm the waived service fee by checking their e-billing or eSOA at https://pldthome.com/; through the My PLDT Smart app; Via SMS by texting PLDTHOMEBILL to 0970 0000 171; or by emailing [email protected] This information may be checked electronically so long as you’ve enrolled your account for paperless billing.
