ACC 2017
PLDT Global hosted the annual Asian Carriers Conference (ACC 2017) in Shangrila Mactan. Thousands of delegates from telecommunications and technology companies flew in from different parts of the world to attend one of the most premiere industry events in the region.
The keynote speaker of the event was Silicon Valley based venture capitalist, best-selling author, and former Chief Evangelist of Apple, Guy Kawasaki. In his speech, he outlined 10 Art of Transformation tips for the companies in attendance. He often referred to lessons learned while working with his former boss at Apple, Steve Jobs.

Another major speaker in the event was our very own Miss Universe, Pia Wurtzbach. She shared her experience on how she used social media to be able to win the Miss Universe competition. She also mentioned that to this day she manages her own social media accounts, something that a lot of a-list celebrities have stopped doing.
Several workshops, social activities, and networking sessions were held throughout the 5-day conference.
