Helping frontliners made easier
As part of its continuing efforts in helping COVID-19 frontliners, Smart and PLDT-Smart Foundation (PSF) launched a Text-to-Donate drive for COVID-19 frontliners. The initiative lets Smart, TNT, and Sun customers contribute their prepaid load or charge their postpaid accounts for donations to health workers, frontliners, and communities badly affected by COVID-19.
To donate, Smart, TNT, and Sun subscribers simply have to text DONATE<Space><Amount> and send to 3456. Subscribers may donate in the amounts of Php 10, Php 25, Php 50, Php 100, and Php 500. The donation drive will run until July 16.
Smart will donate the proceeds on behalf of subscribers to PSF, which has been mobilizing relief and response efforts to help health workers, frontliners, hospitals, and poor communities affected by the pandemic.
Aside from the Text-to-Donate drive, Smart has Smart Music Live Online Sessions, where it teamed up with some of the country’s biggest artists and musicians via a series of live online shows. While being serenaded with live music, subscribers are encouraged to donate MVP Rewards Stars to PSF for COVID-19 frontliners. Smart, Sun, and Talk N’ Text subscribers can also donate to PSF via PayMaya’s OneAgainstCOVID19 campaign.
