Buy and download songs for Php15-20 on the Smart Music Portal
Smart Communications announced a breakthrough partnership with MCA earlier today which lets them sell over 2 million songs on the new Smart Music portal. The service was launched this evening at Hyve where the who’s who of the local music industry and Smart’s digital ambassadors all came together to celebrate in a kick ass, song-filled party. Performances of international singing sensation Greyson Chance and local rock band Pupil were the highlights of the evening.

How to use Smart Music
It’s actually very simple. Go to the Smart Music Portal (www.smart.com.ph/music), register for an account, and start downloading away. You can use prepaid load or have it billed to your postpaid account. The song selection is pretty good as MCA has a lot of major local and international artists like Psy, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Aerosmith. If you register before August 8 you can even download 2 songs for free!
Awesome development for the local music industry. Will try buying songs from Smart as opposed to iTunes for the next few weeks.
