Smart, PLDT Powers Biggest eSports Event In PH

The biggest eSports event in the Philippines is almost here – the Manila Masters. The Manila Masters is spearheaded by the Mineski Events team and is backed by the ESL sees eight of the best DOTA 2 teams from around the world duke it out in the SM Mall of ASIA Arena in Pasay City for a chance to take home a combined prize pool of $250,000 (around 12.5 million pesos).

The eight teams that’ll be duking it out come May 26 include EG, OG, Newbee, Team Secret, Invictus Gaming, Team NP, Faceless and the Philippines’ own, Clutch Gamers.

Smart subscribers will be able to score tickets to the event by simply following Smart’s official social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter. Fans that will be attending the event will be able to bring home prizes from Smart’s DOTA 2-themed Smart base.

Fans that won’t be able to cath the show live will be able to stream the festivities using Smart’s Giga Surf 50, which offers 1GB of data valid for 3 days. You’ll also be able to buy Steam Wallet codes via Smart load or through your postpaid account.
