PLDT and Smart have officially unveiled their brand new logos tonight. Since the two companies share a kinship with each other (Smart is a wholly-owned service subsidiary of PLDT) it’s only fitting that both brands share the same basic shape and design of the new logos. While PLDT retains roughly the same typography as before, Smart has gone through quite a transformation. We’re not sure what to think about it yet.
In any case, the change in logo is just the start – we’d be surprised if both companies don’t have a few more surprises up their sleeves tonight.
