Sony Launches Next Generation Bravia OLED TVs

Gorgeous 4K with HDR Goodness

Today, Sony launched their newest 4K HDR TV — the Sony Bravia OLED TV A8F; a worthy successor to the A1 that the Japenese company unveiled last year. Featuring their X1 Extreme processor that delivers astoundingly beautiful picture quality and X-Motion Clarity to help with motion blur that is a bit of an issue with larger TV sets. With incredibly deep blacks as a canvas, colors are rich and true-to-life that will definitely make Netflix binge sessions harder to break away from; made incredibly easy as its built on Sony’s improved Android platform.

Sony’s Acoustic Surface tech makes a comeback this year to round out your immersive viewing experience. For the uninitiated, this allows sound to travel through the screen itself instead of having downfiring speakers or what you would typically expect of your standard TVs of old. It’s sound that you can literally feel through the screen.

Of course, if you want a little more auditory oomph, you can also check out their new sound bar that can really fill up the room and supports Dolby Audio as well.

Sony has gone through great lengths to create a television that looks like a piece of art in itself as it sits in your living room; adopting a vision of “Soft Minimalism” and they definitely pull it off nicely by letting the picture quality speak for itself.

If a 4K TV is a little out of reach in terms of budgetary constraints, Sony also launched a few other TVs alongside the A8F are the X9000F series, X8500F series, X8300F series, X7500F series, and the X7007F series. These sets also come equipped with an X1 Extreme Processor.

No word on pricing for these awesome televisions just yet so we’ll update this article once it’s been released.
