While everyone is talking about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, let me digress a bit and talk about the brand’s jawdroppigly amazing launch at New York City. It was held at The Armory in Park Avenue yesterday at 11AM. More than 24 hours later, I still can’t get over the presentation that was a complete sensory overload for me (and I mean that in a very good way).
When I entered the auditorium, this was the sight that greeted me.
I immediately knew that I was in for a show but nothing prepared me for what was to come.
The stage was far from the typical elevated platform with a backdrop. Two walls and even the floor were part of the set up. I can tell you all about it but I’d rather just show you some of the photos I took during the launch.
The stage alone was enough to communicate some of the key features of the Note 8 – It allows you to see more due to its 6.3 inch, almost bezel-less display and be more expressive because of the S Pen. The stage was incredibly wide and offered guests an amazing view wherever they were seated. And as for expressiveness and creativity, I would give it a 10/10. Listening to the presentation of Samsung Executives felt like watching a Broadway Show.
When things were winding down and the press were starting to leave the venue, I couldn’t resist but take a snap of myself with this amazing backdrop.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Launch was quite a show, don’t you think? 🙂
