You may have seen a couple of the leaked images and specs for new devices from the local brand, Cherry Mobile, as of late. They’ve scheduled an event with members of the media on October 17 where we can probably expect to see most, if not all, of their upcoming releases, such as: their newest flaghship device — the Cherry Mobile Flare Infinity, their big batteried device — the Cherry Mobile Flare Maxx, and the successor of the popular Flare X — the Cherry Mobile Flare X2. If that wasn’t enough, leaks for three other devices have surfaced online that each bring something special to the table.

First up is the Cherry Mobile Defender that sports a 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor, paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage (up to 32GB), and has been given a Php 9,999 price tag. The biggest thing the Defender brings to the table is the fact that it is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance; meaning it can be submerged up to a depth of 1-meter for up to 30 minutes.

The 5.7-inch phablet is equipped with a Helio X20 deca-core processor to go along with its 3GB of RAM, and 32 GB of expandable storage (up to 128GB). It will also be 700MHz ready; making it a viable choice for those who need connectivity on the go.

We’re guessing that we don’t need to spell out that this has a digital TV receiver for those moments you may be stuck in traffic during your commute home. The Cherry Mobile Flare S5 Lite DTV comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage, and has a price tag of Php 2,999.
