It’s That Time of the Year Again

If there’s one event that we’ve covered religiously more than other tech blogs here in the Philippines, it’s the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Spain. We started flying there in 2013 and we’ve been attending annually ever since. Take note that unlike other tech blogs, we’re not sponsored by companies to go there. We pay for our own flights and accommodations. We get ourselves accredited by the MWC Press Committee.

Last year was probably one of the most fun coverages we’ve had. There was stronger Filipino presence during last year’s event with several speakers coming from our country, including TV5 President Chot Reyes who talked about Sports Digital Marketing. Unbox also had an exclusive sit down interview with Google SVP for Android, Hiroshi Lockheimer. It was also the first time we saw Mark Zuckerberg in person (twice)!

Anyway, we’re looking forward to attend this year’s MWC! We’re sending a bigger team this time around so expect a lot of videos, vlogs, and articles as February comes along. Stay glued to this space for your Pinoy MWC experts! 😀
