How PLDT Home is Helping Filipinos During the Community Quarantine?

Ensuring that your family stays safe and comfortable during the community quarantine

As we continue to be under community quarantine because of the COVID-19 pandemic, various companies are finding ways on how they can serve their customers despite the constraints. PLDT Home, for its part, remains committed to servicing its customers. Here’s how PLDT Home is strengthening its support to Filipinos:

The service crews’ health and safety are a top priority. While PLDT’s field crews remain ready to address urgent requirements and critical operations, PLDT ensures that all of them will follow strict health, safety, and sanitation procedures. For other concerns, PLDT’s online channels (Facebook, Twitter, and their website) remain open to accommodate its customers.

Improved speeds and better prepaid deals. With a big majority of families confined at home to flatten the COVID-19 curve, PLDT has rolled out a free Speedboost (until April 30) to affected areas in Luzon including Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Kalinga, Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Tarlac, with a committed 25mbps minimum speed to its Home FIBR users. To accommodate the increased data usage, PLDT is expanding the capacity of its Data Centers.

To make the most out of the Speedboost, Luzon-based users with Home Fibr Plan 1899 and up get one month of iFlix VIP (usable until April 30). PLDT Home also implemented a 30-day bill payment extension period and suspended disconnection of overdue accounts of its postpaid subscribers with bill periods between March 16 to April 15.

Prepaid users are not left out, as PLDT is extending is double data promo to PLDT Home Wifi Prepaid customers until April 30.

Free access to crucial content. Getting access to verified content is important, and PLDT Subscribers get free access to verified government and news websites—DOH NCOV tracker, official websites of DoH and NDRMMC, plus the news sites of CNN Philippines, ABS-CBN, Philstar, BusinessWorld, GMA News Online, and TV5. Free calls are also available for PLDT, Smart, Sun and TNT subscribers to the COVID-19 hotline 1555, National Emergency Response Center 8888 and Citizen Complaint Hotline 911.

“As the country faces the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, PLDT Home is one with every Filipino family as we continue to provide the most reliable connections so that they can continue living their lives with normalcy – working, studying, playing, and praying together. As Filipinos stay home, PLDT Home’s unrelenting service will keep families stronger together and rise above this trying time,” PLDT Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Al Panlilio  said.
