Aside from delaying postpaid payments to April 30, PLDT and Smart announced that it will be offering a 6-month, 0% interest installment plan for postpaid bill payments.
Under the installment plan, all PLDT Home, Smart, and Sun postpaid subscribers with payment due Dates from March 15 up to April 30 can settle them in six equal payments with no interest and penalties. Here’s how you can apply for the installment plan:
- PLDT, Smart, and Sun will email its postpaid subscribers a billing statement that reflects the first installment amount due. This amount consists of all outstanding payments as of April 30 divided equally to six months.
- From May 1 onwards, subscribers will be paying their monthly service fee and the installment amount from their outstanding bill (as of April 30). Here’s an example of how the deferred payment scheme will look like after April 30:
- Depending on how things go after April 30, subscribers can settle their bills via online channels like myPLDT Smart’s PayExpressOnline, PayMaya, or through online banking apps.
“We hope that through this payment program, we will help you keep connected whether you are at home, the office, or elsewhere after the enhanced community quarantine period. As one community, we will get through these challenging times together,” PLDT Chairman and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan said.
