Samsung wants You to be Creative with its TV Boxes

A great way of upcycling packaging

As TVs become bigger, the same goes for their packaging. Most of the time, users would ignore these TV boxes, leaving them with waste piling up at home. As a response, Samsung pushes its sustainability initiative by giving another purpose to its TV packaging.

Made from eco-friendly corrugated cardboard, Samsung applied a dot matrix design on each side, giving customers the freedom to transform these boxes into useful items like small end tables, magazine racks, and even houses for your feline friends.

All of the eco-friendly TV packaging comes with a QR code that directs users to a guide on how to transform these boxes into household items. Samsung’s new packaging was recognized at the CES 2020 Innovation Awards for promoting the efficient use of resources.

The eco-friendly packaging will be available for The Serif, The Frame and The Sero initially and to more Samsung TVs in the future.
