Traffic sucks. At some point, we’ve all been stuck on EDSA or C5 for hours just trying to get to work and back home. Many of us have come to rely on Waze to help us find back roads or alternative routes to get to our destination faster. This new Waze update will not just help us beat traffic but boredom caused by grid locks that we know all too well.
Six months after it came to Android, Spotify is now finally available on Waze for iOS users. Now, our favorite music streaming app can be accessed directly on Waze so there’s no need to switch between apps while driving. This allows us to keep our eyes on the road while listening to our favorite tunes as we try to keep our good vibes during traffic.
This integration enables users to view recently played songs, control song playback and see Spotify recommendations within Waze. Should you want to go to Spotify, simply tap on the “go to Spotify” button. This saves you the hassle of going through the multitasking menu or searching for the app while driving.
The new and improved Waze app will be rolled out over the coming weeks to iOS users.
