Q4 2019 is the brand’s best-performing quarter
Xiaomi recently released its 2019 financial report with positive results. With a total revenue of CNY 205.8 billion(~$29.1 billion), Xiaomi attained a record-setting 17.7% year-on-year growth. Q4 2019 is the Chinese tech giant’s best performing quarter, scoring a net profit of CNY 11.5 billion with a 34.8% year-on-year growth.
Part of Xiaomi’s impressive Q4 2019 profits is with the Redmi Note 8 series, where the Redmi Note 8 was the best-selling Android smartphone during the said time period. For the whole of 2019, the Redmi Note 7 is among one of the best-selling Android smartphones. Beyond global sales of smartphones, 2019 is an important year for Xiaomi, as it managed to penetrate the premium smartphone category thanks to DxOMark’s reviews for the Mi 10 Pro and Mi Note 10 Pro.
For 2019, Xiaomi posted a total revenue of CNY 62.1 billion for its IoT and lifestyle products, posting a massive 41.7% year-on-year growth. Aside from the Mi Band being one of its best-selling products, Xiaomi’s Smart TVs are also a best-seller, with global shipments reaching 12.8 million units.
