Yes LTFRB, Foreigners are Not Happy with your Decision

The future of transportation is obviously from your phone, not from the side of the road while it’s raining cats and dogs. – Vlogger Nas Daily

Last Saturday’s torrential rains have left a good chunk of commuters stranded on the road, no thanks to choosy taxis who refuse to help them get a good ride home without being charged exorbitant prices. I have a good number of friends who have ranted about how they have to stay out of the street and prolong their agony, and as an Uber user, hindi siya nakakatuwa.

James Deakin has aired his voice several times about this issue, even challenging LTFRB to approve a volunteer driver proposal. It does not end there: foreign vloggers are also damn annoyed with the current situation of commuting in the Philippines. Take Vlogger Nas Daily, known for his one-minute videos, for example: As a backpacker lugging around expensive equipment for his vlogging diaries, a good commute is important. That being said, and in light of the Uber suspension, Nas Daily came up with this video, perfectly explaining the consequences of the government banning ridesharing services like Uber.

Now that foreigners have caught news of this UberGate fiasco, maybe LTFRB may be more open-minded with its decision.
