BPI and UnitedHealth Group Team Up for Comprehensive Data Science Program

The program aims to hone the next generation of data scientists

BPI recently signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with UnitedHealth Group Research & Development (UHG R&D)—the largest health care company in the world—in building a Data Science program to hone the next generation of data scientists. This new partnership aims to help data scientists in analyzing data and use it for making relevant insights on products, clients, and processes.

The program will feature lectures on unique field perspectives and first-hand data science ecosystem experience from industry luminaries. Those who will apply for the program will receive a competitive salary and allowances during the 12-month training, and those who complete the program get a chance to be hired by BPI and UHG R&D and be part of the companies’ data science teams.

“As part of our digital transformation, we will hire these data scientists and make use of advanced analytics to optimize the data and come up with smarter decisions,” BPI Chief Operating Officer Ramon Jocson said.
