NOW Corp’s Upgraded Equipment Aims to provide Faster Internet Speeds

There’s hope for faster internet in the Philippines

In the quest for providing better and faster internet in the Philippines, NOW Corporation announced that it has upgraded its equipment in anticipation of increased demand for broadband internet by its current and future customers.

In a press release, NOW Corp. claims that they have upgraded their equipment to 400 times since they started the business in 2015. The results of this upgrade include an increased speed to as fast as 2.4Gbps compared to 700mbps.

To bring awareness to their efforts, NOW Corporation discussed its upgrades during the monthly fellowship of Association of Building Managers of Ortigas Center, Inc. (ABMOCI).

“Digital transformation is becoming a buzzword.  However, infrastructure is key in order to provide digital services to the enterprise community.  NOW Corp is in the best position to serve this market as we also provide IT services across industries,” NOW Corp. Business Development and Strategy Head Kristian Pura said.

For those unaware, NOW Corp. has then been servicing large enterprises including new enterprise customers such as Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), Phoenix Publishing, MyTown Properties, Department of Environmental and Natural Resources (DENR), and Prudential Guarantee and Insurance Inc.

Other clients include BDO, SM Retail, ChinaBank, BangkoSentralngPilipinas, Phinma Group of Companies and Golden Arches.
