Smart Expands List of Free Sites in Light of COVID-19 Scare

Empowering people to correct and legitimate info about the scare

In trying times like this, it is important that one has access to verified information about the COVID-19 scare. To ensure access to important resources on COVID-19, Smart adds two websites that users can access for free. On top of free access to DoH’s COVID-19 tracker, DoH’s official website, and PHILVOLCS’ official website, Smart is also giving free access to the official websites of the Philippine Information Agency and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

Both websites are essential in monitoring developments such as the number and locations of persons under investigation (PUI) and additional advisories on how to stay protected while Metro Manila is placed under “community lockdown”.

“By providing free access to these sites, we empower the public by helping them get information that will enable them to protect themselves, their families, and communities,” PLDT-Smart Public Affairs Head Ramon R. Isberto said.
