You Can Now Charge Your Gadgets Using a Baseball Cap

We appreciate multifunctional items.  That’s probably why most of us are so attached to our cellphones.  It’s not just for texting and calling these days; we can pretty much do everything with it – send email, play games, update social media etc.  Well, the same can be said about our choice of fashion.  Now a cap is not just a head piece – it can also be used as a power bank.

SolSol, a startup company from LA, invented a baseball cap that can charge cellular phones, tablets and other devices that are USB compatible using solar power.  It has a built in solar panel in its brim, and while it adds some weight, it can be quite useful as it can charge a device at about 200mAh per hour.

The startup company is also planning to extend its product line to not just baseball caps but also to those popular dad hats people are wearing these days.  For now, you can own this multifunctional cap for $56 or roughly Php 2,800.
