128GB Zenfone 2 Pops Up At PC Corner, Priced at Php 20,995

ZF2 128GB

Max storage!

A few days ago a 128GB version of the Zenfone 2 was listed in Indian e-commerce site Flipkart and today, that particular ZF2 version has finally arrived in the PH via PC Corner. To be clear, ASUS Philippines has not announced the availability of the 128GB version of the ZF2, and only lists the 32GB and 64GB version of the ZE551ML as the official variants for the higher end ZF2.

ASUS Zenfone 2 ZE551ML Specs

  • 64-bit Intel Atom 2.3GHz Z3580 quad-core processor
  • 4GB of RAM
  • 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3, 1920 x 1080 resolution
  • 32/64GB/128GB of storage, expandable via microSD up to 64GB
  • 13-megapixel rear camera, f/2.0-aperture, 5-element, auto-focus lens with dual-color Real Tone flash
  • 5-megapixel front camera, f/2.0-aperture, wide-angle 85-degree lens with Selfie Panorama
  • Dual SIM
  • 3G, LTE
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, NFC
  • Android 5.0 Lollipop with ZenUI
  • 3000mAh battery

The 128GB variant of the ZF2 is essentially the high end ZE551ML version with an ungodly 128GB of storage, and is currently being sold by PC Corner at Php 20,995. While the sheer amount of storage looks enticing, there’s really no point in getting the 128GB version if you’re not a download and multimedia junkie. Since the device being sold by PC Corner isn’t an official release, it’s not subject to the same manufacturer’s warranty as the official ZF2’s that will be hitting the PH come May 16.
