4K That Won’t Cost An Arm and A Leg: Meet ASUS’ 4K VivoBook

4K display that won’t break the bank

If you’re looking for a 4K-capable notebook but are horrified at the prices that most 4K notebooks carry, you’ll be pleased to know that there is an alternative. ASUS’ new 4K VivoBook is a power-packed notebook that obviously sports a 15-inch, UHD 4K display. That’s 3840 x 2160 spread over 15-inches, giving you 293 ppi for ultra-sharp viewing of text, images and video.

As far as actual specs go, the VivoBook 4K is decently equipped and comes with either an Intel Core i7-5500U or i5-5200U, along with a GeForce GT940M 2GB GPU, 4GB/8GB of RAM and a 1TB HDD.

The VivoBook 4K starts at Php 41,995, and while that’s not exactly what you’d call affordable, it’s still a pretty good deal for a 4K notebook.
