As IFA 2015 comes to a close, we take a look back and see which gadgets were just… extreme. These are the new products that totally caught us by surprise and the features that they had made our jaws drop either in shock or excitement. Check our five picks below and if you feel that there were other gadgets that should be included please do hit the comments below. 🙂
I. Polaroid Snap
First we have the Polaroid Snap. This is a camera that lets you print out photos without ink. Huwaaat. Yes, you read that correctly. It has a built-in printer that doesn’t use any ink. The secret sauce is actually in the paper that you will need to use. More details about this here.
II. ASUS Republic of Gamers GX700
It’s not unusual to see gaming laptops. It’s not even weird to see giant and clunky gaming laptops. However it is kinda shocking to see gaming laptops with DEDICATED WATER COOLERS. Yep, that’s the beastly ASUS ROG GX700. For more details on this monster, click here.
PS: Razer guys probably were scratching their heads and saying “WTF ASUS” when this was announced, haha!
III. Acer Jade Primo
Using Microsoft Windows Continuum, ACER built a smartphone that turns into a PC. You basically just dock it on a docking machine, connect the dock to a monitor, and viola — an instant Windows PC for ready use. Amazing stuff and gives us a glimpse of what the future of mobile computing holds. Click here to read more about it.
IV. Alcatel OneTouch Xess
We’re not too sure if the designers of this product were high when they made it (lol). The Alcatel OneTouch Xess is a 17.3 inch Android Lollipop tablet. It’s obviously not for everyday consumer use so this is probably more for enterprise. Click here to read more about it.
V. ASUS RT-AC5300 Router
And last, but definitely not the least, we have the ASUS RT-AC5300 Router. This one just looks like an alien artifact of sorts. The stuff that the Protoss create. Or the ones that Darkseid’s minions uses to bomb helpless people in the planets that they conquer. Read more about this here.
