5 Reasons Why The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo Is Perfect For Content Creators

A powerful tool that helps you get things done

The notebook of the future – that’s what ASUS calls their dual-screen ZenBook Duo. It’s the first of its kind in the world and one that’s meant specifically for content creators. There’s plenty of reasons why you should buy this notebook, and here are just five of them:

1. Gorgeous, high-resolution display that’s as accurate as they come

Anyone that edits photos and videos for a living will tell you how important it is to have a color-accurate display when working.

The ZenBook Pro Duo has a gorgeous 4K UHD OLED panel that delivers vivid colors and deep blacks, all while using one of the thinnest bezels in its class.

More importantly, the display is PANTONE Validated and supports an exceptionally wide 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, making it perfect for both amateurs and professionals who edit and produce content for a living.

2. ScreenPad Plus makes multitasking a breeze

One of the things that really set the ZenBook Pro Duo (and its smaller brother) apart from the competition is its built-in second screen. Dubbed the ScreenPad Plus, this secondary touch-enabled display sits right below the main display, nearly doubling your working surface.

It can be used in a myriad of ways – video editors can use it as a separate workspace for Adobe Premiere Pro, for example, while photo editors can use it for Adobe Photoshop (or whatever your equivalent is). Streamers can use it a display to put up Twitch chat (or Facebook chat) to interact with fans while they’re playing.

The point is that its use is only limited by your imagination – that second screen is incredibly helpful for content creators no matter what you do.

3. Incredibly well built

While the ZenBook Pro Duo isn’t a skinny notebook, it’s incredibly well built. ASUS is a company that made its name building high-quality laptops and that pedigree really shows in the build quality of the device. The chassis and lid is machined out of aluminum, which adds a degree of rigidity to the design that’s hard to match with plastic builds.

4. Gaming-grade hardware that can tackle any task

The ZenBook Pro Duo is a jack of all trades, thanks to its powerful internals. After a full day of working and editing, you can unwind by playing the latest games on its beautiful display on high settings, thanks to its gaming-grade innards.

Specifically, you’re looking at an octa-core Intel Core i9-9980HK processor, along with 16GB of 2666MHz DDR4 RAM and 1TB of PCIe storage.

The ZenBook Pro Duo also gets an NVIDIA RTX 2060 GPU, which, if you don’t know is discrete graphics that are good enough for gaming. Its discrete graphics make short work of rendering video and comes in handy when you want to play a game or two at the end of the day to unwind.

5. Innovations that make it a breeze to use

Aside from all the features we’ve already talked about, the ZenBook Pro Duo also has a few more tricks up its aluminum sleeve. Both displays are touchscreen-capable, and ASUS throws in a stylus with each purchase as well to take full advantage of the secondary panel.

There’s an IR camera on top of the display that makes log-ins faster, easier and more secure, and it even works in the dark.

The ZenBook Pro Duo also has Alexa onboard, which allows you to issue voice commands to play music, read the news and do other stuff without having to sit down and type.

Finally, the audio of the ZenBook Pro Duo has been tuned by Harman/Kardon, and the team at ASUS included smart amplifier technology that delivers louder sound with no distortion.

If you’re a content creator, the least you could do before buying a new notebook for yourself is to check out the ASUS ZenBook Duo and Pro Duo. Speaking from our time with what the company calls “the laptop of tomorrow”, we’ve found that dual-screen really helps quite a bit when it comes to content creation.

Buyers of the ZenBook Duo and ZenBook Pro Duo also get a Fujifilm Instax mini Liplay worth PHP 9,999, an ASUS Nereus bag worth PHP 2,995, as well as a bonus package of ASUS 30th Anniversary premium items worth PHP 6,000, for a grand total value of PHP 18,994.
