A new wave of ZTE phones are coming
ZTE is on a roll lately – aside from releasing their Axxon family of smartphones in both the US and China, the company is also gearing to release different versions of its new V3 smartphones to its home country, and hopefully the rest of the world. The V3 family of phones sports an aluminum body with a fingerprint scanner with a decent pricetag, with the entry level V3 retailing at just RMB 999 in China.
The phones have some differences (mainly in connectivity and freebies) but at their core the V3 Youth, Energy and Extreme edition of phones sport 5.5-inch full HD displays, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 3000mAh battery and Android 5.1 Lollipop with ZTE’s Nubia UI.
Prices for the trio of phones are expected to start at RMB 999 (7.3K) for the Youth Edition, RMB 1299 (9.5K) for the Energy variant and RMB 1499 (11K) for the Extreme version.
