Acer Announces Iconia One 8 B1 Tablet

A cheap drawing tab for artists?

Acer also unveiled their Iconia One 8 B1-820 tablet in yesterday’s New York Event. The Iconia Tab 8 B1 sports Acer’s Precision Plus technology which the Taiwanese manufacturer says is capable of offering a highly accurate touch and writing experience. Users can opt to get Acer’s Accurate Stylus to get the most out of the tablet, which is good news for budding artists and creatives looking for a cheap tab to write and conceptualize their art on.

The Tab 8 sports a 8-inch HD display made with the company’s Zero Air Gap technology and sports an IPS panel. It’ll be powered by an Intel quad-core processor and will be available in 16GB or 32GB variants. It’ll also come with Lollipop out of the box, though for some reason Acer is keeping some of the specs (like RAM and the exact SoC used) a secret for now. The Iconia One 8 B1 will retail for $149 or around Php 6.5K.
